Vanlife Gathering #2 Melbourne Region
The 2nd Vanlife Gathering was held at Mt Franklin Reserve Daylesford, Victoria, Australia.
With an abundance of like minded creatives the good times rolled. There were people who drove for hours to be there and a couple from opposite corners of the world travelling through. Catherine cooked up a ridiculously tasty bush nachos. Koala beer kept the drinks flowing. Plenty of frisby action occurred whilst an experimental kup murri was laid as the night crept in. Dusty boots kicked off a chilled musical session followed by the beautiful voice of songstress Shanna Watson. Everyone present was enriched by those who spoke of their journey. We were then treated to some projected image; short film and music clips, compliments of Toby Finaslay at Desert Pea Media. A couple of the guys from The Evening Son then sung a few numbers and when we thought we were full of stimulation, the kup murri (4 times cooked) was ready. Warren Roberts from Yarn & Sixty Thousand Years sent through some awesome stories of the history of the region and it was great to share it with folk at the gathering. Thanks to everyone who contributed in some way. So grateful to meet such amazing people making a difference in everyday life. Keep being your fantastic selves. See you down the road soon! Check some of the fun that went down with the clip and pics below.
